Policies and Procedures

The use of CQC policies and procedures as the foundation for domiciliary care services ensures that staff fully understand how to provide quality care. The policies and procedures can be used as a training tool to help employees learn new things or refresh their existing knowledge. Furthermore, regardless of experience level, all staff working in domiciliary care will have a better understanding of all aspects of care.

The following physical copies of the quality care policies in this folder are the ones that are looked at the most and are part of the KLOE (Key Lines of Enquiry) framework used by the CQC to assess the quality of care. All our policies can be accessed online on our EQMS system provided by Bettal Quality Consultancy. The management system enables us to give new staff policies and procedures that are commensurate with their role. It is based on best practice and the CQC Fundamental Standards so that staff gain an understanding of quality of care from their induction at the outset.
